Our first groundfish trip,sunday. Weather was sunny but the seas a little sloppy. Drift was good but boy were the fish hard to find. I want to blame the full moon but I think the fish were still in very deep water and we spent alot of time on top of the ledge looking for a few haddock. Surprised to see so many whales there and the ride in we saw some playful porpois. A good shakedown cruise and we got to spend the day with some really nice people from colorado. Capt. Pete.
